Director
Amy Gertsch is currently the Director of Events at the Mangy Moose Restaurant and Saloon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and is honored to also serve as the Director of the Jackson Hole Nurses Fund. Amy recently resigned from the United States Department of State, serving in numerous positions over her 13-year career as a public servant. Most notably, she was the liaison between the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations and the Office of Inspector General, Government Accountability Office, and Congressional committees, and most recently as the Chief of Staff for a Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Prior to her career with the State Department, Amy was a professional ballet dancer, performing and teaching extensively nationally and internationally with companies such as the Atlanta Ballet, Ballet Arizona, Oklahoma Festival Ballet, and Anaheim Ballet Company. Amy previously taught ballet at Dancers Workshop, and was the Director of the Junior Repertory Company. Amy holds a special place in her heart for nurses, as her sister is a nurse and previously worked in the ICU at St. Johns Hospital.
